Wahls - Schmidt marriage 1924

Cards were received here this forepart of the week announcing the marriage of Miss Marie/Maria Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Schmidt, of this place, to John Wahls, of Farmersburg. The ceremony took place on New Years' Day at Lost Nation, Iowa. The newlyweds arrived here today and a reception is being tendered them at the home of the bride's parents this evening. We wish the young couple much happiness and success.
