Bugenhagen - Backes marriage - 1923

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bugenhagen went to Guttenberg Wednesday, Dec. 19, to attend the wedding of their eldest son Edward, who was married to Miss Lydia Backes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Backes, the wedding occurring in the St. John's Lutheran church at Guttenberg, Rev. Emil Lenne performing the ceremony. They will reside on a farm east of Luana and be "at home" to their friends after February 15th. Luana friends wish them joy.
