GUTTENBERG, Ia. - Mr. and Mrs. George Pickel of Guttenberg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 14, with a reception at the Lux Club in Dubuque. Hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and all friends and relatives are invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Pickel were married in Dickeyville, Wis., Feb. 16, 1909. They lived in Dubuque for 24 years and have been residents of Guttenberg for the past eight years.

Children of the couple are Edward Pickel, Mrs. Richard Weiland and Mrs. David Douglas, all of Dubuque; Mrs. Otto Sppechtenhauser of Torrance, Calif., and Mrs. Harold Hale of Guttenberg.

They also have 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
