Witnessed by the relatives and many friends of the contracting parties the marriage of Clara M. Eckart, of this city, and Frederick J. Brezinsky, of Mankato, Minn., was solemnized at St. Mary's Catholic church at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Wednesday by Rev. Father Henry Eckart, of Coon Rapids, this state, brother of the bride. The groomsman and bridesmaid were Oscar Eckart and Annie Priester, brother and cousin of the bride. After the conclusion of the ceremony at the church a reception was held at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. F. X. Wolter, at which were present the relatives and only the intimate friends of the couple. The bride, who is a daughter of one of Guttenberg's well known citizens, Henry Eckart, was born and reared here and has been recognized as one of the city's most respected and cultured young ladies. The groom, while a stranger to Guttenberg people, is a gentleman of pleasing address, educated and refined. He is a native of Dubuque, where he was born and reared. For some time past he has been located at Mankato as an instructor in music and also holds the position of organist in Saints Peter and Paul's Catholic church in that city.
