The marriage of Luella, youngest daughter of Aug. Hamann, to Alfred F. Lenth, of Monona, took place Wednesday, the 28th ult., at the home of the bride's brother, Otto Hamann, who resides three miles north of Garnavillo. The wedding was a pretty home affair, witnessed by a large number of relatives and friends. Three large paper bells, combined with ferns and greenery gave an effective setting for the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. Weise, of Farmersburg, at three o'clock, after which a sumptuous supper was served. The evening was given to dancing, the music being furnished by the Farmersburg orchestra, and the guests were merry until a late hour. The bride was neatly attired in a gown of white silk and carried white chrysanthemums. She was attended by a bridesmaid and a maid of honor, who were dressed in white and carried yellow chrysanthemums. The groom also had two attendants. The young couple have gone to housekeeping on a farm near Monona. Both have hosts of friends who extend their sincerest congratulations and best wishes for a happy future.
