Elkader Register, Fri., 28 Apr. 1882. Littleport Matters column.

A walking match between Michael Lucy and James Sullivan, for $50 a side, came off, at Jacob Armbruster's hall, on the 22nd inst., Michael Lucy winning. They walked 1 hour and made 7 miles and 6.4 miles respectively
