Elkader Argus, Wed., 11 Feb. 1903. Two news blurbs, first from the Littleport column, second from the Garnavillo column.

On Tuesday occurred the marriage of Chas. Reichart, of this place, to Miss Backhaus, who resides near Garnavillo. The young couple settle down to housekeeping in our midst and the congratulations and best wishes of a host of friends are extended them as we all hope that their journey through life may be as free from care as was the beginning when all seemed sunshine and roses.

Tuesday at the home of the bride's mother, the marriage of Miss Anna Backhaus and Mr. Reichart, of Littleport, was solemnized. Only the immediate relatives of the family were present.
