Elkader Argus, Wed., 25 Feb. 1903. Local Items column.

Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's church occurred the wedding of Alma Opitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Opitz, of this township, to George J. Monti, of Genoa, Wis., Rev. Reilly officiating.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride to relatives and a few friends.

The happy young couple are on a wedding trip to Chicago and other points and will make their home at Genoa.

Miss Opitz is a most charming young lady and her marriage to Mr. Monti is the culmination of a courtship which began through friendship with his sister at the Prairie du Chien seminary.

That they may be blest with the best of life's offerings is the hope of many friends.
