Elkader Register, Fri., 27 Oct. 1882. Elkport Locals column.

Married- At the residence of the bride's parents, near Elkport, October 24th, 1882, by S. K. Adams, J.P., Mr. Chas. M. Larson to Miss Mary Piehl, all of Volga township. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Adams in his usual genial manner, in the presence of the relatives and a very few invited guests. At the conclusion of the ceremony the bride and groom were greeted by their acquaintances, who not only expressed wishes for their future happiness, but presented them with costly souvenirs which will ever remain momentoes of the joyous hour. Both bride and groom are well and favorably known in Elkport, and will have the best wishes of all for many years of wedded bliss. The Register scribe, in behalf of the force, tenders its heartiest congratulations.
