MARRIED - Hofer - Miller - At the residence of the bride's parents in McGregor, August 3d, 1881, by Rev. Chas. C. Cragin. Mr. Frank Hofer, of the McGregor News, to Miss Mary Miller.

Frank is the energetic worker in the News tripod, steady, industrious and popular. The bride is a favorite, admired for her many excellent qualities of heart and mind. Like all good printers Frank has justified the expectation of his friends and entered the matrimonial career with fair promises. May the life of the happy couple be one of continued pleasure. - McGregor Times
