Married at the Davis House in Elkader on the 16th of May, by J.W. Libby, J.P., Mr. John J. Freeman of Sperry Township and Miss Mary Ann Guin of Taylorville, Fayette County, Iowa.

Well done, another bachelor’s freedom gone. Freeman no more a free man. Such is life, and such the final end of all those who are liked. We wish the above couple a happy journey through life. May their honeymoon be eternal.
