Wedding Bells.
June 12, at 8 o’clock p. m. at the residence of the bride’s parents, in Monona. Mr. Henry F. Koth, of Riceville, and Miss Carrie H. Anderson, daughter of John Anderson Sr., were by Rev. S. S. Smith, united in the bonds of matrimony. John Anderson Jr. was the groom's best man, and Miss Bartha Koth the bride’s maid. Mrs. Charles Anderson presided at the organ. The decorations were of an elaborate character, very tastefully arranged, a blending of colors that lent beauty to the scene and a charm to the surrounding. Indeed it was very handsome, the home resplendent with the choicest of rosebuds. Fully 125 guests were present. At the appointed moment the wedding march to the sweet strains of music the bridal party took their places between the evergreen harps and the ceremony of uniting two hearts proceeded. Congratulations followed when all joined in partaking of the wedding supper, an elegant repast. A number of valuable and handsome presents to the bride. The happy pair took the midnight train for Dubuqe{sp}: a number of friends accompanied them to the train and as they departed a shower of rice fell upon them every kernal{sp} a wish for their happiness and prosperity.—Monona Leader.
