IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN.
I Anna Schuette of the age of 71 years and being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, that is in the manner as follows.
To my daughter Rika Muthing [Mueting] Five Dollars ($5.00)
To my son William Schutte [sic] One Hundred Dollars $150.00 [sic] that was paid to us when he was in the army
To my daughter Mary Franke Five Dollars ($5.00)
To my son Henry Schuette all the interest of Land eight acres, [sic]
And to William Schutte, Herman Schutte [sic], Emilie Harthing [Harting], Augusta Nieman, and Louise Lange the last five of my children to have share and share alike of the rest of my property except the following furniture named hereafter.
August[a] Nieman, bed stead, Louise Lange, Lounge bed and my clothing whatsoever. And at last I appoint Gerhart Nieman, executor of this my last Will and Testament.
I have hereunto set my hand this fourth day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Four.

We the under-signed have by her request and in her presence signed our names to the instrument as and for her last Will and Testament

PROOF OF WILL
State of Iowa
Clayton County
I Ray Webb Clerk of the District Court in and for said County, do hereby certify that on this date at the August Term A. D. 1905, of said Court, the Will and Instrument in writing hereunto annexed and bearing date on the 4th day of December 1904 [sic], was duly approved before and allowed by said Court as and for the last Will and Testament of the real and personal estate of Anna Schutte [sic] late of said County, deceased, and was by said Court ordered to be recorded as such Will and Testament.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at my office in Elkader, in said County this 29th day of August A. D. 1905.
