Married.
Miss Clementine Jacobs of this city and Mr. Werner Eggerth of Spokane, Wash., were married in this city Thursday afternoon at five o’clock by Rev. Arthur Young. The bride is a well known and popular school teacher of Guttenberg and her many friends congratulate her on her choice.
Mr. Eggerth is reputed to be one of the wealthiest lumber dealers of Spokane. He is a widower.
Miss Leona Kirch of Dubuque who attended the wedding will remain here for several weeks.
Friday, 21 June 1907, Guttenberg Press, p1, c6: Miss Mattie Jacobs arrived from Chicago Wednesday night to attend the marriage of her sister Clementine to Werner Eggerth, which occurred yesterday afternoon.

Thursday afternoon. June 20th, at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs. occurred the marriage of Miss Clementine Jacobs to Mr. Warner Eggerth, of Spokane, Washington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Arthur Young. The bride was born and raised in Guttenberg, and has been an efficient teacher of public schools for the past thirteen years, having taught three years in Jefferson township district schools, one year at Aberdeen, S.D., and nine years the secondary primary grade of the Guttenberg schools. The groom is a master mechanic in good circumstances. The bridal pair will depart Saturday, on their way to Spokane they will visit relatives in St. Paul and in Humboldt county and also visit Yellowstone Park.
