Chase-Sherman, marriage 1859

CHASE, SHERMAN

Married on the 15th of September, at Farmersburg, by Rev. L. P. Mathews, Mr. Elisah F. Chase and Miss Emma Maria Sherman, of Farmersburg.

The welcome of the guests, the preparations for the repast, the goodly number of guests, and the warm sunshine on the countenances of all present, made the occasion truly a festive one, not only to the happy couple, but also to all present.
