Teachers’ Second Class Certificate
This certifies that Francis (sic) Haeuschen has passed an Examination as required by law, with the result hereto appended, that as far as known by me she possesses a good moral character, aptness to teach and ability to govern. I therefore hereby authorize her to teach in the Public Schools of this County for a period of 4 months from the date of this Certificate.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name officially this 29th day of Mar 1897.
