Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brandt of this city lost their last girl on Saturday, January 20th, when Miss Phoebe Brandt was united in marriage with Mr. Morris Madorin of Columbia, ?o., the happy event occurring at McGregor, the nuptial knot being tied by Rev. Roscoe Sires, pastor of the Methodist church. They will reside at Cedar Rapids, where a host of friends of the bride will join in extending well wishes.- Postville Herald, Thur., 25 January 1923.
