The John Knapps Married 64 Years
McGregor, Ia. - Mr. and Mrs. John Knapp of Pleasant Ridge will celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary Friday. The former Amanda Denning and John Knapp were married May 9, 1894 in Prairie du Chien, Wis.

The Knapps have been life-long residents of Pleasant Ridge. Mrs. Knapp is now 82 and her husband is 85 years of age. They are the parents of John Knapp Jr. of Harpers Ferry; Mrs. Arthur Kautman of Prairie du Chien; Mrs. Jerry Watters of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Lloyd Eddings of Marquette. There are nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
