This petition for naturalization hereby made and filed pursuant to Section 317(a) of the Nationality Act of 1940
(1) My full, true, and correct name is Winnifred Evelyn Lyons
(2) My present place of residence is Deer Park, Spokane, Washington
(3) My occupation is Housewife
(4) I am 70 years old.
(5) I was born on June 11, 1873, in Norfolk, Nebraska
(6) My personal description is as follows: Sex - female, Color - white, Complexion - Lt, Color of eyes - brown, Color of hair - grey, Height 5 ft 2 in., Weight - 160 pounds; Visible distinctive marks - Scar back left hand, Race - white, Present nationality - British
(7) The name of my husband is Henry Joshua Lyons, we were married on November 18, 1891 at Clayton County, Iowa. He was born at Elkport, Iowa on December 10, 1866; entered the United States at Eastport, Idaho on May 28, 1927 for permanent residence in the United States, and now resides with me and was naturalized on Feb. 23, 1935 at Spokane, Washington, certificate No. 3920660
(8) I have 5 children, and the names, dates and places of birth of said children who is living, are as follows: Arlonzo (m), 8/11/92 at Elkport, Iowa, Leedale, Canada; Sevilla (f), 8/21/95 at Elkport, Iowa, Snohomish, Wash.; Orval (m), 11/25/03 at Springdale, Wash., [now resides at] Marysville, Wash; Mildred (f), 3/20/10 at Lousana, Canada, now at Spokane, Wash.; Willis (m), 6/6/17 at Lousana, Alberta, Canada, now at Woodinville, Washington.
(9) My last foreign residence was Lousana, B.C., Canada.
(10) I emigrated to the United States of America from Lousana, Canada.
(11) My lawful entry for permanent residence in the United States was at Eastport, Idaho, under the name of Winnifred E. Lyons on May 28, 1927, by auto.
(12) Since my lawful entry for permanent residence I have not been absent from the United States, for a period or periods of 6 months or longerI lost my U.S. citizenship through the naturalization of my husband in Canada in 1909. I have acquired no other nationality by affirmative act.
(18) I have resided continuously in the United States of America for the term of one year .... to wit: since December 1, 1942, I have not heretofore made petition for naturalization.
