THE STATE OF IOWA, Delaware County, ss:
I, W. D. Bishop dosolemnly swear that I am acquainted with M. J. Evert, of Edgewood, Clayton County, Iowa, and that he is at least 24 years of age; and that I am acquainted with Mary Amelia Balluff of Strawberry Point, Clayton County that she is at least 21 years of age...

Subscribed an sworn to before me, this 24th day of December A. D. 1889. Abner Dunham, Dep. Clerk of the Court.

License Issued for the Marriage of M. J. Evert and Mary Amanda Balluff on the testimony of W. D. Bishop.

CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE.
To The Circuit Court of Delaware County:
This certifies, That on the 24th day of December A.D. 1889, at Manchester in said county of Delaware, according to laws and by authority, I duly Joined in Marriage M. J. Everet and Mary Amelia Balluff.
