Peavey, Lynne, 25 Second St., Faribault, Minn., Banker; born in McGregor, Iowa, March 23, 1867; son of Louis and Mary (Farrington) Peavey; educated public schools and Chattuck Military Academy; married at Faribault, Minn., 1890 to Elizabeth Weld; second [marriage], Little Falls, 1918, to Norma Williams; children: Roger, Louis and Mary. Began banking business as messenger at the Faribalt Bank, 1883; became assistant cashier Citizens National Bank, Faribault, Minn., 1890-1902; moved to Owatonna, where he was vice-president and manager of Security State Bank, 1902-1905; returning to Faribault, 1905, and with others purchasing controlling interest in Security Bank of Faribault, Minn., of which he has since been president. Chairman for Rice County, First Liberty Loan drive. Mason. Commercial Club.
