Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church at Webb for Mrs. Mient Heins, who died March 13, 1925, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tellbur. The services were conducted by Rev. O. C. Geisler of Spencer, assisted by Rev. L. L. Smith of Webb. Burial was made in the Garfield cemetery.
For two year or more previous to her death Mrs. Heins had suffered from heart and liver trouble but was not taken seriously ill until November 21, 1924. At that time, she was taken to the home of her father where everything possible for loving hands to do was done. Gradually, though suffering a great deal, she regained her strength and was to have returned to her home March 1, but on February 28, she suffered a relapse from which, she never recovered and died at 11:30 o'clock last Friday.
Diane Tellbur was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Tellbur, on a farm two miles southeast of Webb, Iowa, on October 17, 1891, and died, on March 13, 1925, being at that time 33 years, 4 months and 27 days old.
On July 16, 1919, she was united in marriage to Mr. Mient Heins of Greenville and on the same day confirmed in the Lutheran faith of which she was a loyal member until her death. For a short time after their marriage they lived with Mr. Heins parents and then established a home of their own ten miles northwest of Webb. No children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Heins.
Besides her husband and parents she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Fred Lohof, of Sioux Rapids, three brothers, Hieko, Richard and William, all of Webb. She also leaves three step sisters, Mrs. David Dreyer of Montrose, South Dakota, Mrs. C.H. Hart of Webb, and Miss Ruphen Lohof of Glenwood, one step brother, Fred Lohof of Sioux Rapids. There are also five half brothers, Theodore, John, Harco, Bert and Frank, all of Webb.
A large circle of more distant relatives and many friends deeply regret her early death and sincerely sympathize with the husband and her family.
