Ewald "Nick" Holler, 74 passed away Monday, October 3rd in Barron, Wisconsin, suddenly due to an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October. 7th, at 10:30 A.M. from the Riverside Presbyterian Church in. Linn Grove, Iowa. Rev. Kermit Oppriecht officiated and burial was in the Barnes Township Cemetery at Linn Grove, Iowa,
There was a family prayer service at 10:15. A.M. at the Church Saturday.
The Boothby Funeral Home of Cherokee was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holler was born. February 1I, 1915 at Remsen, Iowa to Nickolas and Augusta Smith Holler.
He was married to Arlene Noble on October 12, 1940 at Sioux City, Iowa. He had lived at 101 High Street in Linn Grove the past 10 years prior to this had farmed, for many years near Linn Grove, retiring in 1979. He was an Elder and member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry, also 4 brothers and sister.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, 1 son and 4 daughters David Holler, Linn Grove, IA;. Mrs.. Ron (Beverly) Dunkelberger, Spencer, IA; Mrs. Charles (Shirleen) Waggoner, Chesapeake, Virginia; Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Maaland, Sutherland, Iowa, Mrs. Randy (Denise) Jurgensen, Linn Grove, Iowa, Eleven grandchildren, Debra Mason, Dee Ann Greenough, Tim Waggoner, Todd Waggoner, Jodi Maaland, Jason Maaland, Joel Maaland, Kristin Holler, Joe Holler, Nickolas Jurgensen and Trisha Jurgensen. One great granddaughter: Megan Mason, Also one sister: Mrs. Helen Lozano, Choctaw, Oklahoma
