Funeral services for Mrs. Len Findley were held Wednesday afternoon in the Rembrandt Methodist Church with Rev. C.A. Claypool, pastor of the church officiated
Pallbearers were Rudy Engebretson, Matt Kacmarynski, John Kacmarynski. Reuben Haraldson, Quenton Peterson and Frank Lorenzen
Burial was in the Barnes township Cemetery at Linn Grove
Carlinda Olive McGrew, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.O. McGrew was born in a covered wagon on March 29, 1880 near Cherokee.
She died at her farm home near Rembrandt on December 20 at the age of 79 years, eight months
On June 11, 1902 she was married to Leonard Findley with who she lived for over 50 years.
This union was blessed with one son and one daughter, Raymond L. Findley of Linn Grove and Olive C. Freeney of Storm Lake. She is also survived by one brother, Wm. O. McGrew, Kansas City, Missouri and one sister, Mrs. Fred Dierks of Storm Lake. There are also 7 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Findley spent her entire life in Buena Vista county
