Helen Steuben, 95, of Spencer, died June 30, 1995 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital
Services were held at the Warner Chapel Monday with the Rev. Tom Dettmer officiating
Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly
Helen Steuben the daughter of Carston and Catherine (Wilken) Sierck was born January 19, 1900 on Lincoln and it was there she received her early education
On November 26, 1919 she married Ben Steuben in Royal and made their home on a farm near Everly. In 1971 they moved to Spencer
She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Jackie, four brothers and one sister
Helen is survived by one son and his wife; Gene and Shirley Steuben of Milford; two daughters and their husbands; Fay and Russ Runkle of Hartley and Audrey and George Johnson of LeMars; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren
