Funeral for Belle Roberts, 91, of Spencer was held Wednesday afternoon, August 22 from the Everly United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gary Bird officiated
Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
Bearers were Harry Graves, Martin Stewart, John Murphy, Basil Roberts, Jr., Darrell Faulkner and Meryl Smith
Mrs. Roberts died Sunday August 19, at Longhouse Residence in Spencer
She was born December 3, 1887, to Phillip and Nancy (Weaver) Hupp in Brown County, Indiana
On August 12, 1905, she was married to Oliver Roberts in Morgantown, Indiana
Her early years were spent in Brown County where she received her education. After marriage, the couple farmed in the Morgantown area 10 years. In 1915, they moved to Everly where they farmed until Mr. Roberts death in 1943
At that time, Mrs. Roberts moved into Everly where, for many years, she was an active member of the Everly Methodist Church. In 1975 she moved to Longhouse Residence in Spencer
Surviving are a son, Cecil Roberts of San Jacinto, California; five grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and two sister, Mrs. Blanche Hubbard and Mrs. Golda Faulkner, both of Spencer
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, four brothers and two sisters
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
