Services for William McKinley Rehberg, 79, of Spencer and formerly of Everly were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Warner Chapel. Pastor Willis Nicholson officiated with interment in Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly
Pallbearers were Jack Harms, William Hartmann, Dennis Burns, Claude Whited, Jr., Jim Whited and Robert Burns
Rehberg, the son of Clarence and Johanna (Krull) Rehberg, was born September 29, 1900 in Boyden, where he spent his early years and received his education
He married Minnie Drenth in Rock Rapids on October 14, 1920 and they farmed in the Boyden and Rossie areas for many years. For the past 26 years they had lived in the Everly area
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles
Rehberg died Friday at Longhouse Residence in Spencer
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister
Surviving him are his wife, Minnie of Spencer; four daughters, Mrs. Mary (John T.) Kruse of Little Rock, Mrs. Wilma (Frank) Asmussen of Sibley, Mrs. Esther (Arnold) Sebby of Spencer and Susan Rehberg of Everly; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. (Tim) Margaret DeStigther of Sioux Center
The Warner Funeral Home was in charge of the service arrangements
