Funeral services for Inez G. Eeten Monsen, 41, were held at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Omah, Nebraska, the morning og December 2 and at the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly that afternoon. Pastor Ashley officiated in Omaha and Pastor Roger Hanson and Pastor Ashley at the Everly rites.
Burial was at Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly
Bearers were Robert Sieh, Dr. R.H. Fair, Fred Adrian, D.A. Nelson, Wayne Burnham, Ben Kardell and Gar Odor
Mrs. Momsen died November 30 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital following surgery
She was born May 7, 1933 to Enno and Anna Eeten at Spencer
On February 14, 1958, she was married to Karl Momsen at Everly
Mrs. Momsen was educated in rural schools northwest of Spencer and was a 1951 graduate of Spencer High School. She spent two years as a dental technician in the Los Angeles, California area The following three years she was employed by American Airlines as a stewardess, first at Dallas, Texas and later at San Francisco and Los Angeles
Following marriage, she and her husband first lived in Council Bluffs and moved Omaha in 1963
In her youth Mrs. Momsen was active in 4-H work, T-Teens, Glee Club and other school clubs. Later, she was instrumental founding the Omaha chapter of American Airlines KIWI Club and became its president. She was active in Cub Scouting and with Girls Scouts and was an officer of the Loveland Community Club. She was active in church work and was a member of the Altar Guild of Morning Star Lutheran Church
Any special memorial contributions are asked to be directed the Cancer Fund or the Scouting movement, Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
