Lucie Mae Lorenzen, 92, of Everly died Sunday in spencer
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Everly. The Rev. Allen Wiese will officiate
Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly
Casket bearers will be Roy Kinyon, Darrell Scharnberg, Harold Thorne, Donald Nielsen, Dennis Lorenzen and Kim Lorenzen
Baumgarten Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements
The former Lucie Kinyon was born April 16, 1895 in Moneta. She lived in the Moneta area and later taught school in South Dakota
She married Henry J. Lorenzen, January 2, 1918 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They lived north of Everly for two years, then south of Moneta on a farm.
Mrs. Lorenzen moved into Everly in 1955 and had been a resident of Northshire in Spencer since May, 1979
Mrs. Lorenzen was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of Eastern Star, Federated Women's Club and the Moneta Am Vets Auxiliary
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1953 and one son, Howard, in infancy
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Dwight and LaVonne Lorenzen of Blue Earth, Minnesota and Rodney and Shirley Lorenzen of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one sister, Mildred Burkhart of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin
