Services for Ethelyn Lorenzen, 82, were held Tuesday morning at the United Methodist Church in Hartley, with the Rev. Gary Kilbourne and Keith Scott officiating
Mrs. Lorenzen died Sunday at the Hartley Hospital
Burial was at the Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly, with Baumgarten Funeral Home of Hartley in charge of the arrangements
Mrs. Lorenzen was born in 1895 in Sutherland, where she attended rural schools
She married Wilhelm Lorenzen in Spencer in 1929. After their marriage they farmed and in 1938 they moved to the farm northwest of Hartley.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hartley
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and one brother
Mrs. Lorenzen is survived by three daughters; Wilma Rausch of Spencer, Virginia Barner of Miami, Florida and Avis Snyder of Burlington; three sisters; Adline Cowan of Colbran, Colorado, Mary Caskey of Sioux Rapids and Lillian Wilkens of Greenville; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren
Bearers were William Rausch, Clarence Nelson, William Bryant, Robert Rausch, Jr., Robert Bryant and Donald Ritchie
