Funeral services For Wilna Alice Kruse, 78 Royal will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in royal, with the Rev. Theodore Letzring officiating
Casket bearers will be Jerry Dean, Doug Wetherell, Wayne Brown, David Dean, Robert Wetherell and Duane Kracht
Honorary bearers will be Tom Mann, Bob Dean and Jack Kruse
Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly
The Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements
Mrs. Kruse died Tuesday at the Marian Health Center in Sioux City
The daughter of Otto and Clara (Harmsen) Reismann, she was born December 10, 1910 in Tama County. Her family moved to the Royal area when she was a year old and it was there that she spent her childhood years. She received her early education in a country school and later graduated from Royal High School
She married Hans Vester Kruse on November 20, 1935 in Jackson, Minnesota. Following their marriage they farmed in the Peterson area for several years before moving to a farm near Rossie. They remained on the farm until retiring and moving to Royal in 1985
Mrs. Kruse has been an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Royal, having served as the first president of it Sewing Circle in Royal, and as a member of the Altar Guild. She was a member of LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) and the Lincoln Willing
Workers of the Farm Bureau. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and one grandson
Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Muriel and Arvin Schmidt of Manilla; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one brother, Raymond Reismann of Alta
