Services for Christopher James Ketelsen 20 of Everly will be Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church at Everly. Father Thomas Munn will officiate and burial will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.
Ketelsen died September 26 as a result of an explosion at the Skelly Station in Spencer
Bearers will be Allen Doran, Louis Dehrkoop, Ron Miller, Michael Webb, Randy Holtz and Michael Miller
Honorary bearers will be Jim Beving, Greg Goyette, Rory Huntoon, Eric Fallon, Craig Tesch, Mark Quail, Nicholas Cancino, Bob Pemble and Kevin Belken
Ketelsen was born August 20, 1959 at Spencer, the son of Ted and Valerie (Claussen) Ketelsen. He grew up near Everly and at Wheatland, Wyoming, attending Wheatland High School and graduating from Everly High School in 1978.
His activities included FFA, wrestling, karate and motocross. He farmed with his father near Everly and worked part-time in Spencer
He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Everly
Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Lori (Lyle) Ver Meer of Boyden and Mrs. Lisa (Duane) Ver Meer of Boyden; one brother, Tony at home; two nieces and a nephew; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Ketelsen of Douglas, Wyoming and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Clausen of Spencer; one great great aunt, Mrs. Ella Stuhr of Everly
The Baumgarten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
