Services for Mrs. Royal Johnson, 60 of Everly will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly with the Rev. Roger Hanson officiating
Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday at her home in Everly
Bearers will be Lowell Thomas, John Droll, Maurice Kramer, John Galbraith, Ervin Ott and Verle Matthiesen
Honorary bearers are Norm Froehlich, Gus Peterson, Otto Koehnk and Bill Zeisiger
Mrs. Johnson was born March 22, 1917 at Hartley, the daughter of John and Christin (Hansen) Koenck. She received her education in the Moneta schools.
She married Royal Johnson on July 1, 1962 at Spencer.
She was employed at Hartley Creamery, Stockman's Club in Everly and most recently as a drill press operator at Superior Manufacturing
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Everly, the Eagles Auxiliary and V.F.W. Auxiliary, both in Spencer
She is survived by her widower; one daughter, Emy Lou Mull and two grandchildren. Also surviving are an uncle Carl Hansen of Spencer and two nephews, terry McCall of Iowa City and Timothy McCall of Chesterfield, Indiana
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Milo Koenck; one sister, Marella McCall; and her first husband, Ernest Clark
Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
