Funeral for Walter Truman Hupp, 91, of Spencer will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from Warner Chapel in Spencer. Dr. Fred M. Shultz will officiate
Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly
Bearers will be Basil Roberts, Perry Ohrtman, Harry Graves, Robert Quist, Roger Quist and Darrell Faulkner
Mr. Hupp died Wednesday at Rosewood Manor in Estherville
He was born May 7, 1884 to Phillip and Nancy (Weaver) Hupp in Brown County, Indiana
He received his education in the Brown County area of Indiana and moved with his parents to Iowa in 1915 to settle in the Everly area. He helphed in the family farm operations and dealt in scrap metal sales. He lived in nursing homes for nearly 30 years, the past six years at Rosewood Manor in Estherville
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Belle Roberts of Everly and Mrs. Gerald (Golda) Faulkner and Mrs. Blanche Hubbard, both of Spencer
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements
