Funeral services for Elmer Louis Nath, 62, Moneta will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Warner Chapel. The Rev. Roger Hanson will officiate, and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery
Casket bearers will be Donald Nielsen, Richard Tiedemann, Ray Koehnk, Delmar Struve, Dale Hollesen and Boyd Walton
Nath was born June 13, 1920 near Everly, the son of Peter and Ida (Koechert) Nath. He grew up in the Moneta and Everly areas and began farming after graduating from high school in 1938
He married Shirley Allen on August 25, 1943 and they lived in the Moneta and Everly areas, where he farmed until his retirement last fall.
Nath died Tuesday at the Hartley hospital.
His parents preceded him in death
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Nath, Moneta; three sons, Larry Nath, Estherville, Roger Nath, Moneta and Keith Nath, Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Linda Schick, Albert City; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Anna Ott, Everly, Velma Rosberg, Postville, and Alma Olson
The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
