Andrew Anderson died at the home of his son, Nelson Anderson, in Gillett Grove township, Saturday, Nov. 15th, at the age of 84 years 7 months and 21 days.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. N.C. Harvey, were held Tuesday at Harmony church, after which the remains were buried In Rose Hill cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden on March 25, 1818. He united with the Swedish Lutheran church in childhood and was ever true to Christ and the church of his choice.
At the age of 20 he was married to Miss Lena Nelson and to this union were born three sons, Nelson, Peter and Charley, Peter having passed away when fifteen months old.
In 1880 they moved to Clay county where they lived with their son Nelson until death.
He leaves a wife and two sons to mourn his loss.
