Ina Grace Blackmer, daughter
of William and Sarah Dare
McFarlane. was born, Oct. 9,
1907 at Peterson. Iowa. She
graduated from the Peterson
High School in 1925.

She was united in marriage
to Roy Blackmer at Spencer,
Iowa on Oct. 12. 1928. They
lived in Iowa until moving to
Califomia in 1942.

Since 1981 she has made her home in
Spencer, Ia. She was a friend
of the United Methodist Church
at Inglewood, Cal. and at
Spencer, Iowa.

She passed away at the hospital
in Spencer on Feb. 29, 1984
at the age of 76.

Preceding her in death were her
parents, her husband Roy in 1972
and four brothers, William, Chester,
Walter and Frank.

Left to cherish her memory
are her son, Thomas of Spencer,
four sisters; Mrs. Maudia Richard
of Peterson, Mrs. Fred
(Ethel) Zwick of Spencer,
Mrs. Hazel Kracht of Paullina,
Iowa and Mrs. Howard (Bertha)
Burnett of Sergeant Bluff, Ia;
two brothers. Robert McFarlane
of Ft. Dodge and Ralph McFarlane
of Newport Beach, Cal.,
as well as other relatives and
friends.

Funeral services were held
on Friday Mar 2, 1984 at
10:30am at the Baumgarten
Funeral Home in Spencer.
The Rev. Jerry Brown was the
officiating clergyman. A
recorded solo. ''How Great
Thou Art" was played.
Casket Bearers were George
Selzer, Chuck Selzer, Mike
Hanson. Carl Selzer, Lance
Selzer and Don Harris.
Burial was made at the Oakland
Cemetery near Peterson
with the Baumgarten Funeral
Home in charge of the arrangements.
