Barbara Selzer Willms, 87, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on Nov. 6, 2015. She was the daughter of George and Irma (Blackmer) Selzer, and was born Aug. 26, 1928 in Peterson, Iowa. She grew up in Clay County, Iowa with her six brothers and two sisters and graduated from Spencer High School.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, George C. Selzer and Irma (Blackmer) Selzer; two husabnds, Robert C. Willms and Jack Gustavus; sister, Margaret Hanson; and brothers, Carl and George Selzer. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherri Willms of Richardson, Texas; son, Steven Willms of Shenandoah, Iowa; brothers, Ken Selzer of Windsor, Colorado, Ralph Selzer of Dickens, Iowa, Charles Selzer of Everly, Iowa, and William (Evelyn) Selzer of Everly, Iowa; sister, Donna (Robert) Pena of San Fernando, California; and many other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Oakland Cemetery in Peterson, Iowa at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. This will be followed by a light lunch at the Hap Ketelsen Community Center, Everly, Iowa.
