Funeral services will be Monday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, Spencer with the Rev. Paul L. Davidson officiating
Casket Bearers; Clinton Jones, Chris Dudley, Steve Lake, Jerry Groenewold, Tom Harrison, Ron Sears
Honorary Casket Bearers; Raymond Banks, Nick Udorvich, Bob Roti, Don Veitch
Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer with Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements
Cleone Mae Fischer, the daughter of Lesley and Sadie Waters Jones was born February 14, 1919 near Everly. She received her early education in the Everly area and graduated from Spencer High School
On March 14, 1939, she married Ralph Fischer in Spencer. Following their marriage, they farmed for many years in the Spencer area. She later helped with the insurance business and was the secretary for the Federal Crop Insurance. She co owned and operated Cleone's Ceramic Center in Spencer for a number of years
She was a member of the First Christian Church where she was in the Christian Endeavors and the Home builders Class. She was a deaconess and active in the church circle. At one time she had been a den mother for the Cub Scouts
Mrs. Fischer was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two children in infancy
She is survived by one son, John Fischer and his wife, Sue of Clayton, California; one daughter, Diane Fisher and her special friend, Dale of Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren; one great grandchildren; one brother, Dale Jones and his wife, Katherine, of Spencer, one sister, Carol Lake of Spencer and her care giver, Jerri MacConnell of Spencer
