Frances "Billie" J. Eriksen of Spencer passed away on Friday, October 17, 2003 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines

Funeral services were held on Monday, October 20 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Royal. Rev. William Paul McKane officiated at the 2 p.m. service

Burial took place in North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer

Casket Bearers; Todd Eriksen, Joe Eriksen, Trent Eriksen, John Eriksen, Mark Williams, Scott Saltz, Rob Williams, Steven Engler, Terry Eriksen, Sam Eriksen, Adam Eriksen, Peter Eriksen

Frances "Billie" Josephine Eriksen, the daughter of William H.J. and Margaret Conlon Steiner was born October 10, 1919 in Emmetsburg. She received her early education at the Catholic School in Emmetsburg, her family then moved to Spencer where she graduated from high school at the age of 16

Billie worked for the Spencer Telephone Company as an operator until her marriage to Agdrup Eriksen on June 23, 1940 in Spencer. Following their marriage, they lived in a couple of other communities until settling in Clay County

Billie was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Royal

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Agdrup, eldest son, Steve and sister, Margaret Catherine Parsons

Billie is survived by two sons; Mike Eriksen and his wife, Linda of Primghar and Joseph "Bill" Eriksen of Coucil Bluffs; five daughters; Carol Saltz and her husband, Homer of Des Moines, Sally Broessel and her husband, Dan of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Mary Kay Talbot and her husband, Richard of Wapello, Susan Knorre and her husband, Fred of Round Rock, Texas and Lori Eriksen of Spencer; one sister, Mary Goyette of Sarasota, Florida; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends
