Cornelia Emma Eachen, 91 of Fostoria died Saturday at Longhouse Residence in Spencer

The daughter of Cornelius and Jane Bartlett Allen, was born August 30, 1893 in Wall Lake. Her family moved to Fostoria in 1900 and it was in that community she was raised and received her early education

She married Joseph Frederick Eachen, March 27, 1920 in Sibley. Throughtout their marriage, they lived in the Fostoria area

For more than 30 years, Mrs. Eachen managed the Post Office in Fostoria, retiring in 1959. For several years after her retirement from the Post Office, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Fostoria Elevator

She was a member of the Fostoria Methodist Church and had served on numerous committees within the church

Survivors include two sons, Clyde Frederick Eachen of Fostoria and Dale Warren Eachen of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one sister, Orpha Shatto of Spencer

Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. J. Landon Williams will officiate.

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer

Casket Bearers: Dennis Slaymaker, Jack Slaymaker, Roger Mann, Lee Shatto, LeRoy Brigham, Ben Albers

The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements
