January 30, 1999Maurine U. DeWall, 78, Kingsley, formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Marian Health Center, Sioux City
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at First Lutheran Church, Kingsley, with the Rev Michael Gruhn officiating
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer
Maurine U DeWall, the daughter of Grover and Mary Jessen Roberts, was born March 26, 1920, in Everly
On July 27, 1951, she married Leonard Lee DeWall at Jackson, Minnesota
After their marriage, Maurine and Leonard lived in the Spencer area. Leonard died in May, 1966. After Leonard's death, Maurine and her family moved to Remsen and in 1971 they moved to Kingsley
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Linda; a sister, Janie and a brother, Howard
Maurine is survived by four sons; Terry DeWall of Omaha, Nebraska; Dennie DeWall and his wife, Jana of Princeton, Minnesota; Gary DeWall and his wife, Pam of Scranton and Dan (Boone) DeWall and his wife, DeAnna of Kingsley; three daughters; Margie Riggin and her husband, Brett of Perry; JoAnn Leth and her husband, Dennis of Hartley; and Susie Pierce and her husband, Dean of Kingsley; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; five sisters; Maxine Thompson of California; Joyce Doll of Clearwater, Florida; Evelyn Winterboer of Everly; Belva Jungers of Milford; and Babs Buckwalter of Laurens; 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren
