November 3, 1985Funeral services for Isabella (Belle) Fern DeWall, 86, of Milford were conducted Wednesday, November 6, 1985 at the Leyson Funeral Home in Milford with the Rev. Allen Wiese officiating
Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer
Belle passed away Sunday, November 3, 1985 at the Milford Nursing Center
Pallbearers: Dean Reiser, Herb Birchard, Dick Beving, Don Heikens, John Schoorman, Art Reiser
Belle was born March 23, 1899 at Dedham, Iowa in Audubon County. She was the daughter of George and Mary Waychoff Hartman
She attended rural schools in Dickinson County and she married Harvey J. DeWall at Jackson, Minnesota on September 6, 1917. Belle and her husband farmed in Clay and Dickinson Counties
She is survived by a daughter in law, Hazel DeWall, a sister, Mae Oleson of West Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Sidney Hartman of Winterset, Iowa and one grandchild, Mrs. Gary (Kay) Strube of Estherville
Belle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Glenn, brothers, George, Earl, Floyd and Art Hartman and a sister, Kate Taggert
