Maude Evelyn Davis was born at Waukau, Wisconsin, July 23, 1872 to Mr. and Mrs. Myron Carter and died March 22 at Spencer Municipal Hospital at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 29 days

She was married to David J. Davis at Waukau, Wisconsin, May 6, 1903. One son Carter Myron Davis was born to this union.

She came to Clay County 56 years ago from Wisconsin

Besides her son, Carter Davis, who is survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Warner Funeral Home, March 24 and officiating was Rev. Vern Willey

Interment was in North Lawn Cemetery
