October, 1982Funeral services for Orville E. O'Hara, 62, Des Moines, a former Spencer resident, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Des Moines
Burial will be in the North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer at 1 p.m. Thursday
O'Hara was born in Elmore, Minnesota and lived in Spencer and Sioux City before moving to Des Moines 15 years ago. The farm service manager for the Allis Chalmers Implement Company in Bondurant.
O'Hara retired earlier this year
He died Monday at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Des Moines
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, Des Moines; two sons, Lyle O'Hara, Manchester, Kentucky and Paul M. O'Hara, Minneapolis, Minnesota; three daughters, Joyce Benstead, Allen, Nebraska and Beth Peterson, Corpus Christi, Texas; nine granchildren; his mother Elizabeth DeWitt, Spencer; six brothers, Orvan O'Hara and Donald O'Hara, Spencer, Harold O'Hara, Renton, Washington, Maynard O'Hara, Memphis, Tennesse and Danny DeWitt, LeMars; and two sisters, Delores Kelseyville, California and Jackie, Wichita, Kansas
The Westover Funeral Home, Des Moines is in charge of of the service arrangements
