October 7, 1987Funeral services for Doris Louise O'Hara, 63 of Spencer, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Brown will officiate.
Casket Bearers; Don Malenke, Lonnie Hansen, Jerry Welle, Ken Wilson, Mark Anderson, Gary Miller
Honorary Casket Bearers; Terry Blunt, Mike Patrick
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer
Mrs. O'Hara died Wednesday at Marian Health Center in Sioux City after a long illness
The daughter of Ernest and Pearl Yates Fear. Mrs. O'Hara was born March 15, 1924 in Everly. It was in the Everly area, she received her education
She married Orvan (Bud) O'Hara on September 30, 1942 in Marshall, Minnesota. Shortly after their marriage, Mr. O'Hara entered the military and during this time Mrs. O'Hara resided in Everly. After her husband's discharge from the Army, they made their home in Spencer, where they resided the past 40 some years
Mrs. O'Hara was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, American Legion, Glen Pederson Post No. 1, VFW Auxiliary and the Tops Club of Spencer
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Ronald and Sherri of Granada Hills, California, Owen and Linda of Spencer and Larry and Janet of Schuyler, Nebraska; five granddaughters; one grandson; one brother and seven sisters
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four brothers
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements
