Funeral services were held Monday, June 30 at Warner Chapel, Spencer
Casket Bearers; Charles Meyer, John Fogarty, Clifton Albrecht, Jack Hamrick, Virgil Plautz, Al Johnson
Burial was at North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer
Arlin Glenn Culver, the son of Glenn and Myrtle Hansen Culvaer, was born November 20, 1929 in Dickens. He received his early education at Dickens and later graduated from Spencer High School
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953
On July 7, 1962, he married Mildred Davis Hamrick at Jackson, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they lived in Spencer. He worked for the Clay County Road Department from 1961 to 1992 as an equipment operator and parts purchaser. He also worked for the Clay County Fair in the infield during the races.
He was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion, Glen Pedersen Post #1
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother
He is survived by his wife; one son, Richard Culver and his wife, Jeanie of Spencer; one step son, Lyle Hamrick, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Omaha, Nebraska; three step children; one sister, Arlene Batie and her husband, Joe of Clarksville, Tennessee; and one brother Raymond Holmes and his wife, Leona of Hartley
