April 8, 2005Mildred N. Culver, 78, of Spencer passed away Friday, April 8, 2005 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer
Funeral services will be held April 12 at Warner Chapel in Spencer. June Goldman will officiate the 10:30 a.m. service
Burial will be in North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer
Casket Bearers; Paul Garot, Patrick Garot, Ike Albrecht, Carl Birchard, Lyle Hamrick, III, Jim Linn
Mrs. Culver, daughter of Charles and Nellie Apland Davis, was born February 21, 1927 in Dickens. Her childhood years were spent in Spencer where she received her early education
Mildred married Lyle Hamrick and they lived in Spencer and to this union one son was born, Lyle Hamrick Jr.
She married Arlin Glenn Culver on July 7, 1962 in Jackson, Minnesota. To this union another son was born, Richard Culver. Following their marriage they continued to live in Spencer, where Mildred worked at Miller's Hamburger Shop and later as a cook at Sacred Heart School where she worked for many years. She was associated with the Fostoria Methodist Church
Mrs. Culver was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlin in 1997; one sister, Grace, three half brothers; Clarence, Ivan and Harvey; and one half sister, Louise
Mildred Culver is survived by two sons; Lyle Hamrick, Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Omaha, Nebraska and Richard Culver and wife Jeanie of Spencer; a special friend, Robert Stanton; one brother, Raymond Davis and his special friend, Judy Gilman of Spencer; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and other relatives and friends
