April 27, 2005Randy Alan Binder, 56, of Royal passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at his home.
Services will be held on Monday, May 2 at 11 a.m. in Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer. Rev. Gary Nims will officiate the service
Burial will take place at North Lawn Memorial Park in Spencer

Randy, the son of Norval Joseph and Orpha Rohlk Binder, was born December 19, 1948 in Sioux Rapids. His childhood years were spent on the farm near Rossie where he received his early education of Greenville Rossie grade school. Later he attended and graduate from Clay Central High School. He also graduated from Iowa State University with a BS Degree in 1971
Randy married Dianne Eninger on May 21, 1971 at the Iowa Methodist Chapel in Des Moines. Following their marriage he stated farming land, hogs and cattle with his father in 1971 near Rossie, where he lived until his death. He was president of the Clay Mutual Insurance Board, served on 4-H committees and served on the Clay County Soil and Conservation Board
He was preceded in his death by his father
He is survived by his wife, Dianne of Royal; three sons; Zachary and his wife Nancy Binder of Sioux Rapids, Damon Binder of Royal and Adam and his wife Kris Binder of Greenville; his mother, Orpha Binder of Spencer; three brothers; Dave Binder of Sioux City, Steve Binder of Snoqualmie, Washington and Brent Binder of Grand Rapids, Michigan; two grandchildren and two step grand children
