Funeral services for Glen L. Cox, 73, of Primghar and formerly of Spencer, will be March 5, at 2 p.m. at Warner Chapel in Spencer with the Rev. Dr. Richard L. Pearson officiating

Mr. Cox died Thursday, February 28 at the V.A. Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer

Casket Bearers will be Weymond Drake, Raloh Aufdencamp, Greg Petticord, Julie Aufdencamp, Mari Spang, Julie Johnson

The son of Charles and Martha Cox, he was born January 24, 1918 in St. James, Missouri. His family later moved to Iowa, where he attended Ames High School.

On December 11, 1939, Mr. Cox entered the US Army. Following his discharge in 1943, he moved to Spencer where he worked for Sieg Auto Supply

On September 21, 1946, he married Berniece Lucille Schuldt in Omaha, Nebraska. During their marriage, they lived in Spencer and Des Moines and he worked at Teeter Auto Supply in Des Moines for a number of years. Following their retirement in 1978, the couple returned to the Spencer area in 1980

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother

He is survived by two sisters, Lucille Johnson of Xenia, Ohio and Mary Collins of Plainfield, Illinois; one brother, Charles of Adel; and various nieces and nephews
